She has had the same bedroom set since she was around 7. Her bedroom definately needs new furniture, Since most of it is broken/outdated.

Hey everyone! I need to get a new bed set in a few months. Has anyone got any of the bedroom furniture or any other furniture from IKEA? Do you like it? Open to any other suggestions too! I have mattress already.

I have dark wood bedroom furniture, and a white/ivory sheet set. There are light hard wood floors in the bedroom. I want to get a rug for the room but I’m not sure what to get considering the lightness of it all? The curtains are very light (see-through) and ivory as well. What color rug can I get to add a bit of color, but not over power the light scheme of the room?

I need to buy some bedroom furniture and was offer a nice set built with hickory. I am not familiar with the strengh and quality of this wood. Thanks

I recently purchased a new bedroom set (an antique black color) and am trying to redo the room before it arrives. I’m hoping to paint the walls a buttery yellow color, and I have oak colored hardwood floors. My question is what color would you recommend painting all of the trim (fairly wide trim along the floors, around all windows, doors, and the hope is for crown molding eventually)?? We usually like the starkness of white trim, however it seems as if it would be rather jarring against the black furniture. Any assistance you can offer would be appreciated.
